Eliyahu Cohen was born and raised in Jerusalem. Today he lives and works in Givon Hahadasha just outside of Jerusalem.
He is a graduate of several courses in stained-glass, woodcarving and engraving given by well-known Israeli artists.
Since then, he has developed and creates artwork and Judaica.
The central theme in his artwork is "Ir-Shalem" based on the ancient name of Jerusalem in which he creates scenes of Jerusalem through miniature pieces of glass along with copper and glass beads embedded in pottery
or olive wood in 3D creating unique one of a kind art
